Lee Seung Gi vs Park Yoochun, Two Similar “Prince” Roles To Face Off In March

Lee Seung Gi and Park Yoochun, who are both singer cum actors, will be facing off directly in Wednesday-Thursday dramas in March.

Lee Seung Gi will be appearing in the MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama “The King” together with Ha Ji-Won, a story about a fictitious monarchy that rules South Korea, and a satirical love story that unfolds between the “South Korean Prince” Lee Jae-ha and the North Korean special forces’ “Legendary Female Trainer” Kim Hang-ah.

On the other side, Park Yoochun will be working with Han Jimin, as the male lead for the SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama “Attic Prince.” This drama is about the crown prince of the chosun dynasty Lee Gak, who loses his beloved princess then travels with his consorts 300 years into the future to the modern day Seoul, to continue his unrealised romance from the past,s a fantasy-romantic comedy.

Park Yoochun, who is playing the crown prince is once again playing a role in a period drama after his debut project “Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” which received a lot of love. Since the crown prince moves from the past to modern times, you will naturally be able to see his modern-day charm in this drama as well. This drama will show many comical moments of how the crown prince tries to adapt to the modern day, and develop a different type of time-travel romance.

“The King” will be broadcast after “The moon that embraces the sun”, while “Attic Prince” will play after “Please take care of us, Captain.” Lee Seung Gi and Park Yoochun, who are both playing “princes” will be facing off directly in these two broadcast stations’ Wednesday-Thursday drama slots.

Whether Lee Seung Gi or Park Yoochun will triumph in the early part of Spring (in March), is something worth looking out for.

Details of Tohoshinki’s awaited new single, of which the release date was announced by Tohoshinki themselves at their national live tour, have been officially determined.

The song “STILL”, to be released on 3/14, is a heartrending medium ballad. It fits perfectly well with this season of numerous encounter and separation.

It has already been disclosed at the live tour and has become the center of attention among the fans, who are longing for the release date. Tohoshinki will be traveling throughout the country for this tour, and it is anticipated that the expectation will rise increasingly. Furthermore, the release date is White Day and thus it is likely that this single will become the greatest present from Tohoshinki to their fans!!


Moreover, another song “One More Thing”, to be included in the same single, has already been appointed as a drama theme song for BeeTV.

It will be the theme song of the drama “L et M — the reason I love you, and the other tales”, which will be Erika Sawajiri’s first work as an actress in four an a half year and available for distribution via BeeTV from February 1st. The song will certainly have a synergistic effect on the drama!

JYJ’s Yoochun Poses with his Former On-screen ‘Mother’ for a Photo

A friendly conversation that took place between JYJ‘s Park Yoochun and veteran actress Choi Myung Gil drew smiles from netizens everywhere.
The actress shared the photo above and tweeted the singer saying, “Yoochun~ ‘Fighting’ on your new project, ‘Attic Prince‘! And thanks for the delicious gift!”

Yoochun and Choi Myung Gil played the roles of mother and son in their previous drama, MBC‘s ‘Miss Ripley‘, that came to a close last May.

Yoochun responded to her tweet with, “Mother~ thank you, always. I should be coming to see you over Lunar New Year’s to ‘saebae’, but I hope you have a wonderful holiday regardless.”

Netizens who were glad to see that they still maintained a close relationship wrote, “You guys definitely look like mother and son“, “I know how to ‘saebae’ too“, and “Good to see that you’ve maintained a good relationship!”

Tohoshinki’s nation-wide tour began on 18 Jan at the Yokohama Arena. They personally announced the details of their long-awaited new single to the fans at the concert venue.
The new song, 「STILL」 is a mid-tempo song with a poignant melody, and matches this season (winter) which is full of first meetings and separations. It will be released on 14 March. As the date of release is White Day, (the single) can be said to be Tohoshinki’s best (White Day) present to the fans.
Also, the song 「One More Thing」, which is also included in this single, has been chosen as the theme song for 『L et M』, the BeeTV drama through which female actress Erika Sawajiri will be making a return with after a 4 year absence.
